Pine Island Bay, Florida
Since I made the decision to paddle the 1,515 miles of the (CT)Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddle trail, I have started to train at the YMCA and on the water. On Thursday I went out with a potential kayak buddy for the CT. We paddled ten leisurely miles, stopping at a tiny island called Rock Island. From the island, we watched a man and his young daughter fishing in the shallows.
